The Queenstown Lakes District Council is developing its next spatial plan and has an open consultation ‘call for urban growth sites’. QLDC is asking for suggestions for sites that the public considers suitable for future urban development. Criteria for a suitable site includes space for a large-scale development, for example at least 20 new dwellings or 0.25ha of industrial development, among other preferences.
The site suggestion survey will close on 16 July 2023. For further information or to suggest a site, complete the survey on the QLDC website here.
